This month we have a lot of news to pass on. To start with everyone needs to check out the new club web site. Tony has improved the web site with changes you all need to explore. One new thing is the list of upcoming events and drives. A map is included with each event. E-mails to officers can be contacted via the web site. If you have any questions about the web site and how to use it, contact Tony. He is the web master for the club. Nancy will be sending out messages to everyone re: club news and reminders. The By-laws have been updated this year. At the March meeting there will be a vote on the new revision. A new waiver will be made for all drives that are club related. The lead person will have this on hand. Also, a phone number has been assigned to the club. the phone number is: 864-660-9662. The lead driver will have this cell phone with them.This will help on events if a driver gets lost, takes a wrong turn or just needs to get in touch with the lead person. Everyone can still post pictures, comments and share you fun on Face book. Ed led a group of 10 cars to Lake Lure on February 11th. They drove up and had lunch and a beautiful drive both ways. Carolina Motor Sports was the place to be that weekend for Tim O., Steve H., Larry S., and Brian B.It turned out it was a great weekend for everyone. Ken had bad luck on February 8th. he was in his black Miata and was hit by a SUV. Ken is OK, but his car isn't. We are glad he wasn't hurt.But if you are looking for a black tonneau cover, contact Ken. Kevin B. asked if anyone was interested in buying a Miata, he has an extra one for sale. Frances R. is having rotator cuff surgery this month. We want to send her a get well wish. Don't forget to contact Susan with any news you have. He enjoys photography, illustration, video games and has a back ground in computer animation. Brian actually lives and works in Columbia.
